Our Story

At Mitch's Fuel & Food, history and hospitality come together to create a family-friendly dining experience and quick-stop convenience store in the heart of Confluence. Established in 1985 by Pam Hartman and her late husband Mitch, their journey began as Mitch’s Service Station, a cornerstone on the town square. In 2018, Pam, alongside her children Amber and Michael, replaced auto bays in this beloved service station with a welcoming family restaurant and convenience store, preserving Mitch’s legacy while embracing a new chapter.

Pam's passion for cooking is deeply rooted in her family's culinary heritage. Inspired by her mother Viola, renowned for her pies served at the family restaurant, Pam and her staff bring warmth and authenticity to every dish. At Mitch's Fuel & Food, we invite you to savor homemade meals crafted with love and served in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Whether you stop by for a fuel refill, a quick snack, or a leisurely lunch with friends, stepping into Mitch's Fuel & Food means becoming part of our extended family. Let our hearty menu and friendship warm your heart and fill your tank in more ways than one. Experience the tradition and make yourself at home at Mitch's Fuel and Food.

What Folks Are Saying

Best place in town to eat. Fabulous menu selections. Easy walk from the place we're staying off of the GAP bike trail.

Stopped in by chance, and found this little gem. The service was superb and so was the food. Very reasonable prices.

Mitch’s never disappoints. Haven’t had anything on the menu we didn’t like. Their pancakes, pulled pork sandwiches, and Yinzer salads are some of our favorites.
